I don't know yet. Their website doesn't show it, but it's in the Dennis Kirk 2010 catalog. Page 408, Dennis Kirk part number 02-0024, fits 06 Dyna and 07-10 Big Twin, for $112.99. Part number is in blue, which means it is a new-to-DK part. I would bet it is spring loaded, and I would also bet it is better than the "wedge", at least in the real world.

Got 'er all put together this weekend. Man, it felt good to have some "Garage Therapy"! LOL
Test ride was short due to cold temps and ice patches still on the ground. Not enough time to test the new primary ratio, other than it didn't feel awkward at all.
But the tensioner showed it self already to be a good choice. Shifted smooth on a cold tranny. Not sure if the clunk is gone forever, but it didn't show during the test ride.
Not enough miles for a good test. Will update after I get some miles.

Checked out the wedge spring tensioner. Looks like it is spring operated according to link below???

Have decided I want to change my gear ratio and this thread has some good info on it. How come the cruise control won't work with Evo49T? I can live without the 6th gear light, but a tourer without cruise control, NO WAY. Was sold on this till I realized this little problem. Was considering a cam change for more low end grunt, think a gear change makes more sense. How come nobody talks about changing the rear sprocket? Will the 09 and up rear sprocket fit an 08? This seems to be more of a problem than it ought to be.
