"07-up touring scoot "Must Haves" to correct OEM problems. Please contribute
I'v been reading this forum for a long time under first one, then a second user name and discovered great solutions to many problems I/we have in common with our '07 and up touring bikes.
I've installed many of those solutions and I'm very pleased with the money spent thanks to those here.
So I kinda thought we here could use a thread where perhaps many if not all those items could reside for easy ref.
Please don't post things like seat/bar preference, but instead hard core solutions to problems that seem common to many of us like SE comp sprockets, 3rd link wobble fixers, SE clutch springs, IDS, saddlebag latch fixes, and so on.
I hope those who post to this thread will not turn this thread into a debate about each problem, but instead will simply state the common problem and provide a link to the thread/threads where the problem is discussed and solved.
As with all "common" problems some folks never experience them. If that's the case I hope you remain silent and enjoy your exceptional HD.
Thanks Gents. Who wants to start it off with links to something I mentioned above or maybe another I forgot to list?

Another IDS believer here! Really smoothed out my driveline lash. Much refined machine.
Dunlop E3's = Longer wearing, smoother transitions, well mannered in rain.
Pipes/AC/Fuel package = to cool engine temps a tad.
Oil temp gauge = replacing the worthless air temp gauge.
Also 08 adjustable wind deflectors. Not a problem - just a nice addition.

103"----- needed for hauling passenger and luggage in mountains, stock bike is sort of underpowered for that kind of riding.
Rear stabilizer + Dunlop E3's ---- vastly improved handling if you ride hard
Oil cooler-----dropped engined temps down in the hot summer(i live in hot climate)
Oil temp guage------ to replace useless air temp guage
Non EPA cams, pipes, AC + PCV----Mileage, power, cool running engine
Synthetic gear oil in tranny------ 5th gear whine reduced
With enough power/torque i never remotely felt i needed a IDS or any kind of gearing change.
