Hey guys what all do I have to do to put Vance and Hines Big radius pipes on my 2008 streetglide. Do I have to put a race tuner on? Stage 1? Dyno?

i am trying to find a exhaust for my road king. but the guy at a local dealership says that i need a stage 1 air filter and the screaming eagle tuner.. not sure if they were gonna dyno or not.. but i assume they would.. or maybe just put a map into the tuner..

 

That's B.S. You don't HAVE TO do a stage 1 if you don't want to. You can simply install the exhaust if that's all you want to do. All you're doing is changing the sound of the bike, you're not taking in anymore air, or fuel so you don't need to do anything if you don't want to. HOWEVER, I do reccomend that you do also add the stage 1, For a couple more bucks you can add 10-15 HP/TQ, and allow the bike to run cooler. But no matter what anyone else says, you don't HAVE TO do the stage one when you just change the exhaust.
