Not to hijack and please don't flame but does anyone run Mobile1 20-50 V-twin in all 3 holes? and how is it working if you do. Could be an option for OP?

I am just going to go over there and stand in the corner and try to stay out of the way.

Personally, I don't agree with putting motor oil in the transmission.

Me either, that's what gear lube is for.

i've been using royal purple 20-50 in the motor and primary, and 75-140 in the trans. great results with this combination, although will probably be going to the regular oil, castrol 20-50 dino oil in the primary, as the clutch seems to operate a bit "slick" using the synthetic oil for the clutch pack and primary chain. i've not used atf in the primary, as i'm not aware of its lubrication properties. switching over to the trans lube, the 75-140 did make a noticeable difference on my bike. it snicks into gear now rather than clunking.

I'm going to do this this winter when I change fluids. It makes sense that you would use ATF in a wet clutch seeing as that's what it was designed for.

thanks a bunch
