Default Kudos to Warm n Safe heated gear

I an attempt to extend the riding season in Chicago, I ordered some gear for me and the wife from Warm n Safe. They have a discounted "2nd's" section on the website that has jackets/gloves 1/2 off regular, much like the Gerbings sale website. Got the jacket and gloves and sprung for the wireless controlers. All in 500 for 2 jackets and 2 sets of gloves with 2 controlers. Tried them this morning and man, they get warm! Easy hook up, quality gear as long as it is not snowing, I'll be riding!

Good for you. I had a real bad experience with the Warm and Safe customer service. I emailed them to ask a question about their products when I was in the market to buy. I was so disappointed and irritated with the response, I bought Gerbings...of which I found a 20% off coupon online which, in the end I ended up getting the more expensive Gerbings for less than what I would have paid for Warm & Safe. I understand W&S has a good product...I just won't do business with them. If they're rude to you before the sale, who knows what you're going to get when you have a warranty issue.

Edit: Just to clarify things here, it wasn't just one email that I could have taken out of context. There was an exchange of several emails where the W&S rep was just plain rude. No apology later either. Just plain rude.

Max, as a consumer, I agree with you about demanding good Customer Service. But I've had the opposite experience with Warm N Safe. I have nothing but good to say about them...

No issure with CS, just ordered on line and the stuff arrived on time. 90.00 for a heated jacket was a deal too good to pass up. The XL jacket was a perfect fit (47-48 chest) took a chance on the sizing as the sale stuff cannot be exchanged for a different size. got the XXL gloves, normaly wear XL and the fit was right on. Just have to watch the battery drain with all the gear hooked up and the seat heater for the wife turned on. Going to have to keep the revs up so the battery does not drain.
