Ditto to that! When I bought my 09 egc the dealer had 75/140 Belray in the tranny. When I did the first service I switched to Amsoil 75/110. I like it much better. smooth and quiet! Amsoil 20w50 in the motor and primary.
I had never used Amsoil before. Didn't like the way it was sold. The Dealer where I have it serviced sells Amsoil. Since then I've noticed alot of Dealers selling it.
Use atf in the transmission if you are going to use it anywhere
ATF is 10 wt. works fine in a syncromesh transmission like a Ford or Gm. i wouldn't put it in the H-D. Best i have found in H-D tranny is Redline V-Twin HD fluid. 75-250 wt.
B&M Trickshift is essentially Type F fluid. It has modifiers that help clutch lock up. GM drag racers use it in the automatics and I have used it to clear up a slipping GM transmission. I see no ill effects in an H-D primary.
