Default Kuryakyn Chrome Brake & Clutch Dress up kit

Anyone tried out a set of these. Just curious how they look on the bike. Price seems great compared to replacing the entire clutch and brake housing but that's what makes me skeptical. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Have not seen the cover for the master cylinder, but have seen the Kury switch covers, and they look fine. You can't really tell they're covers. With that said, personally speaking, I wouldn't put a cover on it because you'll have to remove it every time to access the reservoir. Why not go with the chrome cap instead? Just a thought.

Thanks for the reply and I am considering the chrome cap. From the assembly instructions I don't think accessing the reservoirs will be much more difficult. I also have the switch housing covers and think they look good. Just hoping to find someone....anyone that has bought, installed, or even seen these covers.

I'm looking at them too. The brake fluid just eats up the paint on the master cylinder.

I have the 1740 for my '08 Ultra Classic sitting on my workbench along with the standard HD chrome switch covers and chrome buttons. I have not stopped riding long enough to try to install them.

Hey Red Dog you get those chrome clutch and brake housing covers installed yet. Just curious on if you like them after the install

I just installed these on my '08. Took no more than an hour. You decide!

One of my friends has the Kury covers on his 09 Ultra. They look great and are good quality. You can't tell they're covers. I know some people prefer to replace the original parts by chrome ones but IMO, covers are fine too.
I have the Kury chrome inner primary cover and it looks great. Much cheaper than the HD stuff and the chrome is as good.
I wouldn't have a problem putting the chrome control covers on my own bike. Matter of fact, it might happen around Xmas. <g>
