Default HD Street legal slip on's

I am trading in my SG for an Ultra. I want a better sound than the stock mufflers and am not going to do a stage one at this time if ever. Has anyone used the HD street legal slip on's? I was advised they sound better than stock but not as loud as SE?

Yup.....replaced the stockers on my '05 RKC with the HD Touring Mufflers in June. (PCIII and SE intake) Uses a billet tip like the SE slip on, but the tips aren't interchangable.
Supposedly 49 state compliant.
They are only slightly louder than the stockers. I'm somewhat disappointed with their sound.

I have an 06 RK and have the SE SLIP ON'S. They are not loud at all. You can make em growl if you hammer on it, but even this is not a ear bender. Nice sound...

i bought a pair of Samson rolled thunder slip-on's for my 06 RKC from J&P's 'scratch/dent' section for $199. they sound nice at idle- but thats about it.

however, my previous bike was a 1700 with wide open Bub Jug Huggers... and that bitch was L-O-U-D.

if you want a loud bagger- youll need to go with true duals.
