STICK!!! YOU DID IT! Congrats on the good deal done and behind you now... I had a pretty good feeling that you would join the ranks of RGers... and as you are just now really discovering... it's a very sweet choice. How's the roominess for you? You might want to consider a Mustang solo seat which will give you another inch or so of leg and arm distance to the controls. They're really comfortable seats and of much higher quality than H-D seats. Enjoy your new ride!

The softail was to small for me and was uncomfortable on any distance more than 30 min. And DHart, yeah I thought the RG had more room than any, the stock seat is fine for now but I will def look into one of the mustangs. Thanks for the nudge to look at the RG's. I'm very very happy with my choice. Now I gotta do some stuff to it so it doesn't look like all the other black ones.

Congrats! I got the same bike back in August...just added a chopped tour pak, lowers, SE air cleaner, SE touring mufflers and stage one download. Looking forward to some serious touring next summer and hopefully a few more days this fall before the snow flies.
Ride safe!

I took delivery on my 2009 Road Glide August 21, 2009. I now have 10879 miles and more every day. (I know I should have more, but I must work too.)
I take time to change it to "Mine" when I can. I took the side covers off the first day to start to paint it. I now have the gas tank left to paint, but due to the temp, It will wait till it warms up. I have added lowers and cleaned up, fiberglassed, and painted a Tour Pak from the top of my garage. Added bag rails, changed the rear turn signal bar. Lights and now am adding lower vents.
I need more money and time.
