Default H-D LED Gas Gauge

Has anyone installed the H-D 75084-04 LED fuel gauge on their Road King? I find the stock one hard to read unless I bend forward to look at it. I know it is not very accurate but it would still be nice to see it.

I use this one 75087-04

Same idea as the other part in a 6-shooter design. Mine seems to be very accurate, but I still use the trip odometer just to ensure I don't end up pushing my bike

I installed the six-shooter led on mine. Looks real good. It is acurate enough with six lights to let me know about where I am with just a glance ... at least as good as the stock fuel guage. I still use the tripmeter, too.

Had a friend install one on his Road King and he tells me its as accurate as the POS factory gauge and its hard to read in the daylight. I was going to buy that setup until he talked me out of it

Mine is real easy to see in the daylight. No problem. I have difficulty seeing up close, but not long distance. I ride without glasses and the led setup makes it a whole lot easier ... even in the daylight.

Thanks to all. I figured the accuracy would not be any better then the original. I am just looking for something easier to read. I think I will give it a try.

I installed the LED gauge on my RK to get rid of the blinding low fuel light that came on at 1/4 tank. Little hard to see at high noon but night vision more important.
