Oil Pressure and Light.
I recently had some engine mods done, 95" pistons, PC3, cam and geardrives, adj pushrods, so im having trouble getting use to the new set up. On start up it idles up at almost 2k for a few min till it drops down to 800. (mech says that is nomral with a PC). The oil pressure has always fallen a lot at idle but now the oil light is now flickering at idle and when I back off the throttle sometimes. I thinkin might be the oil pressure sensor. Am I being a little to jumpie with the way the new engine acts?

I wouldnt idle below 950, personally I set the idle on the 124 at 1050. 800 is too low and thats why your oil pressure is low at idle.
Cold idle should be about 1600, not 2000...
If you had a SEST adjusting these is just a matter of typing in the numbers you want. I am not sure how to do it with the PC3...

Dawg, I would say at start up it runs up a little above 32 and as I ride a while it will drop sometimes around 20 or lower, at idle after riding about 30mins it can drop to around 5 or 8 I guess I have just noticed it flickering at Idle and just before it get to idle. My pressure gage can change reading while riding sometimes thats why I think it might be the sensor. The light never flickered before the mod.
