Default L.e.d. lights with trailer

I have a brightasslight taillight on my 06 ultra.
How will this affect me pulling a trailer?
Will the trailer lights also flash?
Does it matter if trailer wire is 4 or 5 pin.
I dont have trailer yet but want to make sure i get it right the first time.
Also dont want to mess up wiring.
Thanks

If you wire the trailer before the plug to your Tail/Brake light it will not affect the BAL. You should use an isolatation relay set up for your trailer when you wire it. I do not believe the BAL is designed to handle the additional load of a trailer.
