Default 09 Cali Bike and PC-V

Anyone done a PC-V on an 09 cali bike with the cat headpipe intact? How did it work out?

I did, but Im not convinced I have a cat in the headpipe. It runs awesome. I bought it from Jamie at Fuel Moto mapped to my Big Sucker and V&H Classic slip-ons.

The PC-V works equally well on the catalyst equipped bikes

I had read on hear that the pc-v was hard to find a place to put in Califorina bikes due to the extra hoses and what not uder the seat I just got a new 2009 street glide and was thinking of putting a pc-v on it but its running good with just the stage one kit

There is plenty of room on the 2009 bike. On the 2008 Touring model with ABS and California emissions it is a bit of a tight fit.

I have an 09 CA Bike w/out ABS and it was a pretty tight squeeze! I actually ended with one of my plug assy's hanging behind the right side cover.

I didnt have to cut anything but it was very tight.

I did the PC V with California emission and ABS. It all fit, but it was a TIGHT squeeze! I was able to get all the connectors in front of the battery, but dread ever having to take them out and put them back again! Bike runs bitchin' during the 3000+ miles since I did the work. And, 40+ mpg!

I just installed a FuelMoto stage one kit with the PVC on a 09 CA SG with ABS and it was a bitch to get the connector in front of the battery, I ended up taking off the top cover that sits on the battery shoving the connector below it towards the bikes right side as positioned and reinstalling the top cover but it was a tight fit and will be a joy when I have to access it again but it did finally all fit. That was the worst part of the job the rest was cake and so far one short ride later the bike seems to really run well and I am happy with the end result. Next will be adding the non cat headpipe I just purchased once I receive it.
