I wear cotton jersey gloves under my leather gloves, warm enough for me. My winter rides are usually 50 miles or less between stops.

Go to the camping section of your local Wall-Mart and pick up somthing called "Hot Hands" they are very cheap, and will provide warmth for over six hours.

I got these antifreeze liners last year and they really help. I also have the Heated gloves (not a cheap fix) but my hands sweat in them so I usually only need them when it's below 40.

I like my heated gloves when I'm touring in really cold weather but for around town I find them to be too hot and the wiring cumbersome.

I have a pair of battery operated gloves I bought online for $30, they work really well.

Thanks for all the tips guys! I decided to try the Fugly Hippo Hands (might suit the looks of a Roadie eh? haha). I had him send me some that were supposed to fit around my GPS mount, but the slot doesn't line up-would work with bar mirrors, but a GPS mound isn't straight up, but comes forward. I may be able to modify it.

Anyways, I'll test them soon and report back!
