True dual exhaust system

RE: True duel exhaust system
When I posted about my success with the V and H I wasn't looking for controversy! This was the cheaper way for me to go as I already had slip on pipes. When I put my bike together in 02' Rinehart didn't exist. I think each persons choice could directly be related to their own unique situation. I don't think you can go wrong with either combination! For me I personally like my V and H sound but I also like the Rinehart's. My wife chose the Rinehart's for her FatBoy and they look and perform great. Imagine that! Two different brands that both perform equally well!!

RE: True duel exhaust system
Hi...After talking to about a hundred people on here, including many builders, I learned that the stock crossover is well engineered for a backpressure range (including stock anti-reversing valves) that allowed for V&H Oval Slip-Ons and the stage 1 EFI kit and airbox for an outstanding sound and feel. Heading to the dyno soon and i'll publish those numbers. Trial by Fire shows that it may have even increased the low end torque just slightly over stock. (I often switch with my pal on his 04 Standard.) Loud but not quite obnoxious, perfect popping, and a super look. V&H finish is outstanding, construction is excellent, very distinctive. But enuf, im rambling! Enjoy!

I haven't heard anyone mention Caliber true duels. I just bought an '05 RK Standard with these pipes and I am very satisfied. Great sound and look. These pipes list for $889 but the performance increase claims are pretty serious. Check out the link below.

Rineharts! I got em and like em! Don't notice excessive heat and sound is great.
Only thing I discovered is that you best position your passenger floorboards were you want them before installing the Rinehearts, cause the left side header is real close to the allen head bolt used for adjustment.
