Default New Rear Fender Tip Light Do I Need To Drill?

Does anyone know if this will bolt up without having to drill or modify my 09 Road King? Does it attach to an existing bracket? I think it's a new item that was just added to the catalog and the instructions don't tell me much.

Rear Fender Tip Light - Auxiliary Running Light / Brake Light

Upgrade your Touring model's Original Equipment fender tip light from a single-mode running light to a dual-mode running and break light. The brilliant lamp glows red in the running mode, and increases in intensity when the brakes are applied. The available smoked or red lenses complement any styling direction. Easy-plug-in connection to the Original Equipment wiring harness.

Fits '09-later Touring models (except FLHX, FLTR, FLTRX and Trike models.)

Thanks, cause I don't want to do any modifications that I can't reverse, like drilling holes in any thing. Do you like the way it looks - is the light noticeable?

Love it. I have the smoked lenses on all my rear lights with the turn brake light conversion, it is Very noticeable.

It replaces the light that is on a EGC.Does your bike have a light there now?If not,I think you are gonna do some drilling.I put one on my 09 EGC and I'm very happy with it.When you hit the brake its quite bright.Works well with the LED tail-light.

Thats exactly what I'm afraid of, there is no light on the RK, this is a new part number and I was trying to figure out if it was redesigned to work without drilling.

like you my RG had no secondary light so I added the street glide tribar. your supposed to drill but I (and many others here) used the double sided 3M fender tape. works well. that unit your looking at might be a little heavier, but just a thought.
