Default Is this turbulence or wind buffeting???

Ok I know this may seem like a dumb question. I may be getting a new Street Glide soon. I test rode one back before I bought my Road King Custom and I remember the wind coming over the faring caused my glasses to want to ride up and down on my face. Which is that?? Turbulence or wind buffeting.

Which brings me to my next question. What can I do to get rid of it. Is a taller windshield the answer??? If so how tall and any suggestions for one that will still retain the looks. Or is there another solution.

BTW I am 5' 9" and tall torsoed if that makes a difference.

I think a taller shield will take care of that,if your nugget is over the sheild thats just forced wind to the face!If it still happens with the taller shield, then i think there is some turbulent air swirling between you and the fairing.Buffeting is when the fairing wants to shake at certain speeds,or you might get a steady vibration at certain speeds.Good luck brother

I have an aftermarket fairing on my king with a tall shield and dont have any problems.I just ordered a smaller one,so i'll have to see how that one does. The tall one is 12" and the new one 8"
