as mention :
1-seal for the sliders and pvc pipe to install.
2-the 6mm allen is critical..it MUST be in a socket..either cut the "L" off your allen or buy a long one.
3-Oil.
***from some-one who had to drill-out the that dam 6mm bolt...
Make sure your allen wrench is perfect.
ALSO i learned after the fact that if you place the ENTIRE LEG upside down on a folded towel and have a friend yank the slider towards the ground while you remove the 6mm bolt... it seems to remove some stress from bolt..

It is super easy to STRIP the head out of that bolt. I did on one side. Had to drill and use an EZ OUT with the new IMPACT I had to buy for the job. Do yourself a favor and start with an impact.

I turned mine into a circle with a ratchet. The head on that bolt is very shallow and it is hard to hold that long allen in there straight with enough force to turn that tight a$$ bolt. Believe me the impact is the way to go.

I'm guessing that when they say "impact" they might mean the kind you hold in your hand and strike with a hammer, not a 200 foot pound pneumatic impact wrench, but I may be wrong.

I'm talking about an air impact. I bought a Kobalt 3/8 drive for about 50 bucks at Lowes. I don't remember the ft.lbs. but it is variable speed and worked like a charm.
