Reach seat, lowering blocks, pull back handle bars, 0 psi in rear shocks and thick soled boots. No problems in 2 years.

28 inch inseam here. I ride a 2009 EGC and put the lowering shocks from the SG and a Mustang 2 piece touring seat on it. One of the other guy's said that he talked to Mustang and they told him that their seats raise you about 1 to 1 1/2 inches. They told me the same thing about there 1 piece touring seats but they also said that their 2 piece seats are about 1" lower and 1 1/2 " narrower than the stock seat. I am comfortable flat footed when by myself and when my wife is on the back, I have plenty of room to spare. I had a Mustang touring seat on my Dyna and can say from 18K miles that I think they are comfortable.

Hope this helps.

I have a 09 streetglide i'm 5'-3" LOWERED THE FRONT 1" SENT REAR SHOCKS TO bitchinbagger.com lowered shocks 1.25" to 10.75" with reach seat sit flat footed. Or take stock seat and uncover and take a electric knife and cut off extra padding down to seat pan will also narrow the width of the seat.

Another thing to think about when lowering it, is if you use the HD parts, Shocks, Spring, Seat before delivery of a new bike it is then covered under the Factory and or extended warranty. This is why I went with the HD parts on my ride instead of Aftermarket. Good time to Chrome the Fork lowers since they are apart for the lower springs.
