Default V&H Dresser Duals

I have stock pipes with V&H ovals slip-ons. Want to put on Dresser Duals. Does this make the bike louder? To be honest, it too loud now with the V&H oval slip-ons. Not at all interested in MORE noise.

It will make them a little louder, but it will also make them deeper. Not to mention it will balance out the sound on both sides of the bike.

i heard the rinehart t.ds next to your ovals. the rineharts t.d are not as loud idleing but when you get on it they roar. much cleaner crisper sound too. if your just cruizing ,they hum a little. too me the perfect sound all around. i love the sound. there only obnoxious when your really getting on it. man i cant explain it. me and my girl where walking the dogs last night . saw a guy on a hog coming towards us at night just cruising. i told my girl those pipes sound awesome and took a closer look. black tips buddie on an r.k and there pretty cheap at eastern performance shipped free. i have not heard bounty hunters t-rexs yet, but im telling you the rineharts sound awesome.

If I go with the duals, do I need to get a new map/dyno?

yes you can get a pcIII or the sert is good too. the pcIII is super easy to tune. you can get one from eastern performance for $277 shipped. $10 for them to program it for your setup. but you can do it yourself easy, also only takes about 10 minutes to install. If I go with the duals, do I need to get a new map/dyno?
