Major gas leak

Fuel leak
The latest. If not for N8DC I would still be wondering. Anyhow I had to fix both the main fuel line and the return line by installing a new o-ring. N8DC (dave) supplied me with great info and pics. I will at a later date post these pics with deminsions and give Dave all the kudo's with hopes it will help the next guy/gal that has a major fuel leak.
Thanks Dave

not sure where you got that part number from, but I have the 08 parts manual and harley does not sell just the oring for the fuel supply line quick disconnect. they dont even have a part number for it. You have to buy the entire piece that goes inside the tank with the quick disconnect attached. I just need the size of the oring that is inside the quick disconnect. im thinking maybe you are confused about which piece I am asking about.

I clearly stated where I got the part number from......my '06 touring parts catalog.
I did not say whether MOCO sold it separately (or what models years it would or would not fit).
.....I just gave the number (as requested) from a HD parts book (with pictures even).

In a pinch an 11105 drain plug o-ring will seal, its a little small but does work.

WhiteGold,
I was trying to be helpful, you asked where I got the part number.
I posted exactly where I got the number in my original post.
Then after being corrected.....I apologized for the inaccurate information.
As for pics, I meant the pic in the parts catalog....the number I gave is in fact an O ring (the only O ring shown in the parts book). I was unaware it was incorrect.
So.......if it makes you feel better with your little name calling (assmark)......have at it.
I hope you find what you are looking for, have a great evening.

ashmark..
Maybe, by me saying "not sure where you got that number from", I was refering to "where in the catalog did you get the number from"...I can put up a part number for a rear wheel bearing when someone asks for a inner cam bearing if I wanted to, but that dosent mean its the right part number.. I am not an idiot, I obviosuly know it came out of the parts catalog like you said, but that dosent mean it is right...obviously. I knew it was wrong, because I know that harley DOES NOT have a part number for this oring, nor do they even show it in a picture breakdown. I guess I should not have answered back to your original post and let anyone else who did a search for the same part find this post and purchase a useless oring...As for the name calling, as funny as it actually is now that I see it, I REALLY did not even mean to do that...I jsut type to fast sometimes. I do appologize thanks for trying to help.
