Default Forgive my ignorance, but....

I have never ridden any kind of bagger for any length of time. I did the Lake Superior Circle Tour last summer (2,000 miles in 5 days) on my 1200 Custom and the ONLY "complaint" I'd have is that the seat was uncomfortable after a couple hours. (And yes, I've tried LOTS of them, no luck.)

I have always ASSUMED (and I know the dangers therein) that baggers have really comfy long distance seats, either stock or other HD or aftermarket.

Do they??

Thanks amigos,
TLM

They are OK, but nothing to write home about. I swapped my stock seat out inside a week for a Sundowner.

I never found a stock seat comfortable! I have found some HD and other seats more comfortable and I ride up to 700 miles a day on my RKC. The most comfortable seats are custom fit to your azz...

Well that depends on your definition of comfortable.
I put the comfort stitch seat on my Road king, much more confy then the stock seat, but I would think that the weight of the bike make some of the difference in ride quality.
Just my .02.

The stock cop air ride seats are the most comfortable seats ever put on a motorcycle.

My '07 seat is fairly comfortable for a stock seat, haven't seen a need to change it yet.
