My 09 ultra's stereo just quit, the display stays on and remains unchanged as to what station/track I was listening to but there's no sound. I can turn the radio off and immediately turn it back on and it works for a while and then does the same thing. There is a faint popping sound when it quits. I do have a hogtunes amp/speaker kit up front but all factory in the rear. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a dealer thing (new head unit?) I'm wondering if they will claim that the hogtunes amp will have anything to do with it and try to juke out on fixing it under warranty because of that. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

 

Take the amp out before you take it in so they can't say anything. Out of site out of mind . Once warranty is out on mine if it bites dusts it's history and I'll install a decent headunit.
