Look for a small painted dot on the tire. Should be lined up with the valve stem. If it is and it feels smooth then you should be good. I just changed my rear tire myself and added some dyna beads for balance and it runs smooth as glass at any speed. Got the beads at Whitehorse. Those lead weights will keep falling off. Drop them beads in and ride it.
EXACTLY!!!! I have not worried or been concerned about my tires since I started using Dyna Beads.
When I built my trike. I didnt want those weights on my new 21" mag or the chrome rear mags either. I had the tires mounted, but told the tech NOT to balance them. I added Ride-On Tire Protection System After you put this product in. You just ride about 5 miles till your tires warm up and it balances the wheels. They use this in emergency vehicles. Since this stuff will prevent blow outs and such. Meaning it will clog holes. Its advisable to make sure that after inserting the product. That your air valves are also tightened, just to be sure that the product doesnt clog a leaking air valve as well.
Just wondering. If mine had them, they fell off on the ride home. I have never really thought to look, but I haven't noticed weights on any new bikes I have looked at.
