After calling the Mgr of this place today again...and telling him he gave me a bad tracking #...he said it left yesterday....he thought...and wouldn't get me a tracking #...so I called AMEX and disputed the 20 day old charges on my credit card. Then I called thunderheader and found out that gopartsdirect.com's order wasn't even being made for two more weeks. I called Dennis Kirk and they beat the price by a dollar on a new PRO PIPE HS and it left today...they had 6 in stock.

Just to follow up.....
I called gopartsdirect today, and they gave me a confirmation number for my refund. They said it takes up to two billing periods to reflect my refund. AMEX gave me full credit until resolution, so I'm not worried....at least not at the moment.[&:]

I guess I should have read this forum before dealing with goparts. I ordered a set of V&H's in February,and they told me they sent them out. About 2 weeks later they finally sent me a phony tracking number. Then when I called themon it2 weeks after that, they told me they would not be able to get them from the factory for another week. When I canceled the order they charged another $600 to my credit card instead. I finally have been credited back everything they owe me, and I obvoiusly will not be dealing with them anymore.

I ordered some V&H slipons from them, and had no problem even when I screwed (so they said)up the order up.
(one year old story)I ordered my pipes (last Feb), and didn't get my bike out of storage until April. Went to put the pipes on,and they were the wrong pipes. Afterarguing back and forth for a day they decided to take the pipes back, and send me the correct ones.

gopartsdirect.com issues
so i ordered some items from gopartsdirect.com over the phone so that the shipping to hawaii would be correctly quoted. ordered a set of exhaust pipes, an efi controller, handle bars, and a k&n air filter. received the air filter and its been a little over 3 weeks waiting on the rest of the order. several phone calls with up to an hour on hold the shortest wait on hold was about 20 minutes. tried going to their website tonite (15 sept 2008) to find a message stating that if i wanted a refund or to find out about an order that i had to contact the bankruptcy court in nevada! so now im out looking for pipes and handle bars and an efi controller to finish the project that i started for a 2005 softail standard conversion to a 250 mm rear tire, but all my tools get packed up so i can move back to florida on the 18th, looks like im gonna have to trailer this guys bike back to his place so he can finish it when we can get the parts.
