Default Slip ons or no slip ons

Can a 2009 street glide be ran with only the header pipes and no slip on mufflers?

Didnt notice a big difference but only ran it a couple of miles. Tired od my wifes sporty being louder than mine. HAHA I believe that a singer sewwing machine is louder.

Just take the headers completely off the bike. Run it with no pipes at all. It'll free up some unnecessary weight and that'll make yours louder than hers fo sho! Video tape and post it too please!

No trick question, what would be the difference between this or putting a pair of slip ons with teh baffle removed. I did that on my 06 softail and put 10k on it. only difference os that i had a stage one kit and fuel sys module.

Sorry I though you were taking your slippon mufflers off and run with open pipes. If your mufflers have a removeable baffles I am sure that they can be changed out or replaced, I think Thunder City may make a less restrickive baffle.

I cranked mine while I had the mufflers off the other day. Man, I don't think I could stand that for too long, it was LAF!! It also sounded like ****.
