The stock wood grain on my tank panel is starting to show some age. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on replacements or cool changes I could make. Thanks in advance.

if you can get the woodgrain off, go to your local sign shop and look at some the vinyl they have, maybe you can buy a piece and put it on the dash and trim it with an xacto knife. if not bring it to my shop and ill do it!!

 

That's a good idea, mikeisglidn, thanks. I was kinda looking for something that I might be able to personalize the bike a little with. With vinyl, I could do alot of stuff and although chrome is cool, the vinyl leaves me more gas money.

 

I'm assuming the tank panel is just glued on. The gas filler cover should come off easy enough.

 

yea they also make CHROME vinyl. i can also make you a blank bar & shield to go in the middle maybe in black or something. just send a sase and ill send you one!! oh yea FREE!
