Default Any options for adding a tail light to 2010 SG?

I'm looking at a 2010 SG, but don't like the "missing" tail light. I would prefer the safer (IMHO) option of a separate large brake light similar to the previous 09 model.

Any aftermarket options out there for adding a brake light to the fender or backs of the hardbags??

Agreed. Not as safe. Looks like something is missing. Same w/new RG.
I wouldn't mind seeing something different like the Vrod / Deuce tail light.
Hasn't the regular Harley tail light been std issue since 1973?
It is time for something new.

Yes, I'm sure something aftermarket will come out. I'm not going to let this one thing stop me from buying this bike. I will fix it somehow.

i saw a 2010 cvo streetglide today, and the filler strips for the bags has a vertical taillight in each panel. i don't know why a person couldn't just use an 08 or 09 streetglide turn signal, taillight. it'd require a little bit of drilling "ouch" in a new fender to attach the new taillight, but i agree, it does look much less safe than the 08 and 09 setup, i about rode home on a vivid black 2010 roadglide today. i liked it that much, but can't get over those two alien looking, chopper wannabe turn signals being used as taillights.

think about it as far as safety goes the new set up is brighter, you have 2 bulbs versus 1...I rode behind a 2010 fltr and a older bike. the 2010 was more noticable. just gonna take getting used to that style. ya also have the tribar light on the bottom. jmo

I agree... you get two brake lights instead of one, brighter and two bulbs.

Also agree that yes, will take a little getting used to... but actually, not a bad design.

The lower running light at the bottom of the fender seems like it would help a little with visibility as well.

Would be cool if the outer half of the lens on each side was yellow (for the turn indicator lamp) and the other half of the lens red for the brake light.

Haven't seen it in person yet, but I am glad it is bright - it'd have to be!!
