Probably a very dumb question... but to be sure, I'll ask...
I'm about to order a 103 SE Big Bore kit and I see two options: black or silver... I assume if I want the heads to look like my original 2010 Road Glide heads I want to order the "black"?
Does silver mean that the heads are all silver colored (no black between the fins?)
Make sure and get the 103 with the SE255 cams. I just had mine done and I went on my first ride today. All I can say is WOW! What a difference.
PTAG... what pipes did you go with? And what tuner?
I'm going to stick with the SEST as that way it's all Harley and no potential issues whatsoever with my extended warranty... everything will be covered by H-D for five years.

I used the V&H ovals. The kit with the cams comes with some slipons but I didn't use them. I also already had the free flow air cleaner so they refunded that to me. BTW, don't be afraid to ask for a discount this time of year. They me me 10% off parts and 15% off labor. I have never seen this dealer do this. I went to a Dyno guy here locally and had the RCM tuned directly using DirectLink software tuning system by Techno Research. Check out www.technoresearch.com
I went with this guy because I wanted it tuned correctly. I hear that Harley just throws default maps in there tuners and I wanted something better. Mine Dyno'd 87 HP and 111 torque.
