Default Best cam for a stock 96" ?

I did a search and couldnt find the answer i was looking for. I was wondering what would be the best cam for a stock 96" motor. Im wanting the most HP and torque i can get, preferably low end torque. Does adding cams effect reliablity of the motor because i ride mine pretty hard. Are geardrive cams better? I was also gonna get the PCV with autotune would this be a good choice?

Thanks

You might get a lot of differing opinions on this. But the fact is, the most telling number from a cam's specs is the intake closing. The lower it is, the lower the engine makes power. So, if you truly want low end torque, a cam that closes the intake at 30-31 degrees is what you want. Andrews' TW21 is one such cam. If you truly do ride hard, you might want a more aggressive cam like the TW37. It requires more throttle to make power, but if you're twisting the wick all the time anyway.......
I think geardrive cams are better. You eliminate timing variance caused by the chain, not to mention getting rid of all the problems Harley has had with the TC cam chest.

The link Dawg provided is about the most current on this subject. Keep in mind that increasing low-end and midrange torque and peak HP does not go hand-in-hand without upgrading other parts of the motor. A good low-end cam set like the SE255's will increase peak HP, but not substantially and power falls off after about 5k RPM. In choosing cams you'll need to decide what RPM's you want to affect and do lots of research, as there are lots of cams available that cover most every niche, from low-end torque lovers like me to *****-to-the-wall HP freaks. Without making other changes, like compression ratio, you can't have the best of both worlds in a stock engine.

What problems have been seen with the current design, i.e. hydraulic tensioners and native-metal outer bearings? I don't know anyone that's recommending gear-drive for these engines, but maybe I've missed something. I know Andrews even makes an upgrade for older TC's to the current design, as does HD, and I've heard Andrews recommends them over gear-drive. To my knowledge the current design (TC96) is the best available at this time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I used a HQ500 in my bike with a FatCat and a good aircleaner and a SERT and got 90HP and 93 Torq, it runs great, it starts great.
