Default LED LIGHTS AND CRUISE CONTROL

I was told that if you install an LED brake light in place of the standard 1157 bulb on a 06 RKC the cruise control will no longer work because of the constant voltage supply needed to operate the LED..is this true???? thanks in advance for your help

Not true. My bike is a 2005 EG with an RG Front end. I have an LED tail light and CC. Both the CC and the tail light work great.

However you may need to add a load stabilizer (which is basically just some added resistance) if you have the factory alarm. Since they use less power the bike thinks they are burnt out and will give you the quick flash when you use the turn signals. THis is for the turn signals obviously but I imagine the brake light would cause similar TSSM problems.

What they are saying is correct. I installed LED turn signals front and rear with LED clear tail light lens. I also used the load equalizer and the run turn mod for the turn signals. This was done on my 06 Road Glide and the cruse still works fine. Go ahead and don't worry about this one.

As everyone said.................

Full LED's front and rear, no problems with the cruise.
Did have to add the load equalizer to get the alarm light to turn off while the bike was running
