D&D Boss Slip ons

D&D Slip On
I too couldn't get answers from anyone. Ordered my D&D slip on last week for my 2010 Road Glide. People at D&D told me a little more rumble over stock for noise and only about a 2-3% increase in performance. Complete 2-1 pipe system was much louder and around 15% increase in performance. They told me due to the catalysis inside stock header pipe muffles exhaust noise. Going to try slip on for now because slip on $300 and full pipe $1000.

Guys, I have D&D 3.5" slip-ons shown in my pic. Love 'em and sounds so much better than stock. Not to loud in my opinion, cruising speed is not loud at all but they will bark when ya poke 'em with a stick and get your attention. Sounds more like a Harley should (short of a carbed motor of course).
I just added Vance & Hines Dresser Duals and it did get louder but not obnoxious and the sound is certainly more balanced side to side now.
Best I can do for you.

Did you need to so anything other than add the mufflers? Such as a Race Tuner, A/C, or reflash?
Thanks.
