BRAKE PAD DEBONDING

BRAKE PAD DEBONDING
Has anyone had an occurance of friction material debonding from the backing plate? It's pretty exciting when it happens and you lose front brakes completely. These were stock Harley pads for an 02 Electra and I still had 85% of the pad left. Both pads had debonded from the left front. One pad was thrown and the other was still captured in the caliper. Obviously I lived to ask about it. Lucky I wasn't in a panic stop when they let go.

RE: BRAKE PAD DEBONDING
Sorry to hear about your woes there Jimmy! I say never use HD pads again! I'm sticking with either Lyndall or SBS pads! Harley pads are crap and cheaply made. I would definitely send those broken pads to Milwaukee with a letter, and let them know about their crappy brake pad vendor.
