Auxillary Headlights

RE: Auxillary Headlights
You have to take the bulb out and use a special cut-out socket to loosen the nut. It's a pain in the **s! You can try using a rubber hammer on it, or try to muscle it. It should move enough to do the trick for you. The cut-out socket is available in the Snap-on catalog.

I have an 05 Road King Classic with Auxillary Headlights, but how do I adjust them...up and down?

To adjust the aux lights, you'll need to remove the turn signal first, then loosen the nut up inside the base (on the aux light mounting bolt). Problem is, the aux light mounting bolt is hollow with a wire that feeds up thru it, and there's no room in the little cavity. Snap-on makes a flare nut socket at about $35 that HD recommends for this task.
Instead of that, I bought a cheap deep-well socket (9/16" I think it is) and cut a slot up the side of it for the wire to run thru with my Roto-zip. Works great.
