Default Rode A FLHXXX Today

Guys, A friend and his wife show up today on a new FLHXXX, Now I have never rode a bike with 3 wheels so the first thing I learned is you don't have to put your feet down when you stop, that took a couple of stop signs to get that part down. I'm not sure if I like the bike or not, I would be hard pressed to spend $30K on it, it is WAY to "Twitchie" and feels "Short". At 70 MPH if you sneeze it changes lanes. My friend has some of the best bike handling skills of anyone I know on a big bike and he said he has had it on 2 wheels already. I guess you would get use to it.

A lot of people I know ride/drive things I wouldn't own...
as far as putting your feet down at stop signs on a trike, thats about the same as driving and automatic car after having driven a standard for years? (try pushing in the clutch
when coming to a stop)
Glad you got to try out a trike.

That reminds me of working back home on the farm. After hauling grain for days on end, when I got back in the pickup (with an automatic tranny) I dam near stomped a hole in the floor stomping on a clutch that wasn't there. LOL Thanks for the memory.
