FB did you ever chage out your pipes to match the bags? Any pic's?

MassHD I have a Rinehart 2-1 with topshop bags and fender here some pictures for you to look at, I need to get a new picture of the back of the bike that way you can see the fender and bags together

Looks to me that the way the monster ovals are offset that if you mount them so the left one is on the right and vice versa they would fit in the holes. Might be worth a shot.

Bags $700 (shipped)

paint by my local painter $490 (but he also painted my fender struts and 4 point docking hardware to match)

all lids and harware to mount, comes off your stock bags

I went with Rush 3 1/2" slips on that use slash caps. The match really well.
Finding some slip ons at my dealer that where long enough to get to the rear of the bags was the hard part.

With the new '09 frame the Monster Ovals are a close to the inside as they can get.
There is an axel nut that it would hit on if it was any closer to the frame.
So they will not work.



They would fit the hole between the fender and the bags but they will not move inward anymore than they already are.



The Monster Ovals mufflers even have a dent on in the inside so the miss the axel nut.
