Thanks guys. The one nice aspect of these bags that is over looked maybe the false floor they put in to make the floor flat. That is really nice..........and below the floor there is a lot of storage for crap that you keep in the bags but seldom use.

On one side alone "under the floor" I have: a tool kit, a flat tire kit, zippy ties, bungy cords, reading glasses, knife, multi tool and some other stuff I have already forgot what I put in there. LOL

Default Electra Glide to Street Glide

I have a 99 EC and would like to convert it to look more like a SG. I like the removable touring package and some of the benefits of the EG, like the height & functionality, but I dig the sleekness of the SG. I've started to remove some of the chrome pieces that surround the bags
I am in search of the plastic/fiberglass piece that goes in-between the bags and the tire. Is there a such an items available through a third-party seller? Or am I required to purchase it from H-D?
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated

Great job.. if the slant of the bag matches your stockers, it should be a 30 degree cut for your exhaust if you have it custom cut. Obviously check that!
