TFB, that looks outstanding!!
I don't like the new chrome docking hardware, and have been wondering how it would look painted. It looks great.
You did a fine job there.

(I'm terrible at taking pictures apparently, these will have to do for now)

I also had the Fender Struts and the 4-Poit Docking Hardware painted to match.
I've been wanting to paint these since day one.

Here's a direct from behind shot:

TFB, looks great. Anxious to see which way you go as far as pipes (slash up or down) . I currently have Bub 7's slash down on 08 SG. The wider fender on the 09 is sic, hopefully I can get similar results with mine. I'll be watching for your exhaust exchange.

I'll do whichever matches the lines of the bags. Is that "Slash UP"?

That's what I call slash up. I think the way the way the stock ones you have on now is slash down. If I'm wrong someone will correct me. Mine is with the tips on top side.

Thanks, I had actually bought the Black Fender Struts and Docking Hardware because I wasn't that fond of a Chrome hicky back there sticking out. The Black set was an easy paint job. Not to sure if you can paint chrome harware though.

I love the way it hides the axle hardware. That always stuck out to me.

Yes they were. They have to be centered on the mounting bracket not centered in the hole.

Wow...that sure looks good! Nice taste in color also. I wish I could paint stuff like that.
