Default Peace Officer edition UC

My brother is looking at a '10 Ultra Classic Peace Officer edition black with ABS and Security. Offer here AL was $22,500 OTD. I thought that was a pretty good deal so I checked with military sales here in Iraq and they were pretty shocked too.

What do you guys think that have been do the dealers and seen the prices?? Do they usually run more for the special bikes or are they pretty close?

Smile Reasonable

Purchased a 2009, same model, your quote sounds very close to the best prices quoted on the 09's. Don't think hes getting high grossed at all, buy and ride!

My understanding of the 'special bikes', was that the military, shriners, pd and fire, are guaranteed to only pay MSRP. These bikes are exempt from the dealers marking up and over the MSRP. A thank you for our guys in uniform.

Normal deal is $2,000 discount off of MSRP for FF/PO bikes. Some dealers give the discount, some don't.

Not a good price in my opinion. If memory serves, I paid about $18,500 for my '07 POSE.

Also, OTD means different things to different folks. Around here, sales tax is paid later, at the DMV, some places it's paid at the dealership and is figured into the price.

my 08 was about $2000.00 less than what the general public had to pay. (MSRP)

He has now found a used one local.

an '07 with 5700 miles. "some extras". looks clean in the pics. Asking $17,800. Good price on an 07?? I haven't done alot of pricing on used bikes, cause when I bought mine I was going for new.

Sounds pretty good to me though..
