Default What Backrest and hardware for Ultra Classic?

Hey guys!
First post here and so excited on my 2005 Ultra Classic purchase a week ago!! Yahooo! lol
Anyway I did the Phil Petersons Poker run down to Key West last week and my back really got sore. I am so use to my Kawasaki Voyager with the backrest but my new ride didn't come with one.
When I go to Ebay and look around I get confused on which ones to look at?
Does anyone have any pics of the mounting hardware and/or backrest assy? I need to get one soon!

Man the DIY Mods post is great hugh? Lots of really nifty ideas on it!

Thanks guys.. gals!

Pete

...... i believe ANY of the HD rider backrests will work, just need to determine whether you want adjustability or not .....
then the question becomes ,..... do you want the stitch pattern to match your seat or will any pattern work for ya ?

Go with the adjustable one. Works great.

Congrats and welcome - Look around on Craig's list and within this site for a used setup. I would suggest the adjustable backrest. I found one on this site and works well. On those long rides, sure makes it more comfortable.
Good luck, enjoy and be safe.

I've had both kinds, the easily adjustable and the other, and either works equally well. IMO. It's your choice. -------------- BTW, welcome to Harley world.

Thanks guys!

I was more interested in what hardware will fit it. Isn't the hardware different on some than others?
I also just posted in the DIY mods thread about the heat issue on my wifes legs (right leg anyway) Need to do something soon for her!
I'll post in the correct forum for that though.
Anyway here's a pic of her!

Thanks guys!
