Default Riding with a dog ??

My wife and I have a little chihuahua that the wife would like to bring with us on the road. She as even asked about a sidecar that will not be happening.... Anyway, as anyone come up with a safe way of bring a little dog/ cat on a bike ? I was thinking about putting her carrier on the tour pak but not too sure about it. Thanks in advance
PS Why the question...... A happy wife = a happy life ...... LOL

I have 4 labs and would love to take them for a ride but it's best they stay home where it's safe and sound.

Don't know the answer as well but I would certainly be concerned about their ears (noise and wind) if it is for any distance.

to each his own.

We have a local Weatherman here in MKE who has his dog on the back of his wife's bike often. They each ride and the dog rides with her.

My friend rides a RK with his chihuahua in the saddlebag with a modified side holes for air. He puts his heated vest in when the weather gets cool. The dog seems to be quite comfortable. In fact, I'd say the dog is more comfortable than he is in cold weather.

I see you live in NYC, it may be okay there but in the rest of the country its against the law to own a Harley and any dog under 60 pounds.

Got a couple in our local chapter that rigged a box on top of the tour pak. Lined with sheep skin and a mounted windshied (maybe from a side-car). Seems to work for them. Seems like a small vari-kennel on top of the tour pak would work just as well and adds the security of being enclosed in case they're jumpers.
