A nice local fella rides with his dog all the time. He uses a thin blanket on the tank and his furry friend sits on it.

Thought you might enjoy this picture, from Sturgis several years ago. I had breakfast with the owner. Those dogs just sat there...the snippy ones were in the dog case.
