Default RE: Satelite Radio Antenna

Glad to have found this thread! I'm moving mine from the tankright next to the consoleto inside the fairing. I lose signal all the time going in certain directions.

On the subject a satellite radio, does anyone have any ideas on a direct wire instead of using the cigarette lighter?

Just so I'm clear, is the XM antenna that you have successfully installed in the fairing and on top of the radio, the "hockey-puck" shaped unit that also interfaces with the Zumo 550?

The under the fairing antenna bracket from H-D are P/N 76456-06 FLH models and P/N 76316-06 FLTR models

I didn't know there was a bracket. I just vecroed the XM box on top of the radio and put the antenna on top of that. Works great!

Picked my SG up tonight with the new XM and I love it. Great reception everything hidden under the fairing and no more skipping CD that I have to listen to.

96th St HD here in Indy really stepped out to help with all the issues.
