Yes, if it was on the showroom floor it may have had a couple of test rides. They may have ridden it a bit once they uncrated as well.

When I worked at the dealer we rode every new bike 12 miles before it hit the showroom floor. Not sure why it would have twenty, though. My new '08 had 12.1 on it when I picked it up from the dealer here. At some point the mileage changes it from new to demo or used status but I don't know what that number is.

Very normal. Like said before, the techs will test ride it after they put they uncrate it, they may let people demo it. Heck, lots of brand new cars with have hundreds of miles on them from test drives.

I recently toured the HD plant in K.C.. While on the tour, we stopped at a room with several bikes that had yellow stickers stuck on the bikes in various places. When asked why, the guide explained. As the bikes are completed on the line, a bike ( at random) is taken for a check ride and checked for any problems and if any are found it has a yellow sticker placed on the deficent area of the bike. The bike is then repaired and crated for delivery.
So if you get a bike with 20 miles or so on it , it has probably been checked at random at the plant --and should have no problems. Hope this helps ease your mind.
