Mine had 20 on it. I'm assuming they let someone test ride it since all the other bikes had 5 miles on them. No biggy.

Trouble is those first 20 were with zero warm up and redline gear shifts without the clutch...LOL.

You should have gotten a high mileage discount.

I would not buy a new bike that had been demoed, but that's just my little weirdness I can't overcome. Mine had 4 miles on the clock, and I know that is the standard test ride the techs take after the new-bike prep work. Any more from this dealer and I would assume it had been demoed and I would not have accepted it. I doubt if 10-20 miles is going to hurt anything, but how does one know what a demo rider will do to the bike, like do 20 burnouts and run it through the gears up to the redline? Not to worry anyone, but just sayin'.

My bike had 1 mile on it when I selected it and the salesman put another 4 while I was signing final paperwork. He said it was a law some miles had to be put on each bike before delivery. I think he's full of it on that last one.

The bike I bought had 17 miles. I put 12 on it as a demo ride.

It's not gonna matter when it rolls over 100K!
