Last time I was at the open house was in 04, stayed at Gettysburg. At the York factory they just had the tour of the touring and softtail plants. They have a store at the factory to buy shirts and the typical nicknacks.
After the tour you could ride downtown York to the fairgrounds where a whole shiteload of vendors, live music, babes and beer booths, food and the steel ball type acts were going on.
Battlefield HD at Gettysburg had some stuff (pigroast) going on to.
It was a good trip, something I would recomend doing once.

maybe I am jaded since I live here, I think the event kinda blows. Last year they wanted 15.00 to get into the fairgrounds for a handful of vendors, I can buy a hot dog anywhere. Besides the tour ,I dont really see the attraction myself. But thats my opinion.

We have three bikes planning to ride up tomorrow and do the open house tour on Saturday. One of the guys just called and said he has heard that the plant is on strike and was wondering if this was true and if it was affecting the open house at all.

Does anyone know?

Thanks
