Can't comment on the Mustang but after riding on the new Sundowner I just installed, I can't imagine a better seat but I'm sure there are some that will disagree. To me the height is the same as the OEM but the seat feels more like a bucket seat. I was prepared to buy and then try something different, but my search is over.

Sure like the Sundowner....I've never tried a Mustang and may not have to

Have a Sundowner on my Road King and absolutely love it. Have a Mustang on my Heritage and absolutely love it too. Really depends on you. Either way, you can't go wrong.

I have sundowner and mustang solo. I like mustang better overall. Firmer, feels better when I'm sitting on the bike.

I have a Mustang and the size of the seat is what i like, my OL love the pillion because it's wider than the Sundowner...I would say also that the Sundowner is a lot cushier than the mustang but the passenger pillion is narrower...I have 35k miles on the Mustang and it works good. Firm seat....I had a Sundowner on my Sportster and loved it but got the Mustsang Free on a deal with a guy...

Have a mustang on my Sporty and love it. Will have one for the Heritage. At least give the Mustang a try. As far as I know, they are the only seat manufacturer that will allow you to return a seat if you don't like it. They have a 10 return policy.

I had a corbin and a mustang on other bikes and liked the corbin much better. I have not upgraded my stock HD seat yet an can go about 3 hours without having to stop. I could go longer on the Corbin but was younger then.

Would appreciate hearing your preferences and suggestions.
I have the Mustang Ultra Tour on my RG. It is the widest seat they sell. It took a lot of getting used to after riding on the stock seat for 15K. This seat is much wider and much firmer. Now after several K, it is a very comfortable seat. Like everyone else posted, they are firm compared to stock. Not as firm as Corbin.

I have the matching backrest for me and also the tourpak backrest which has the extended arms. My wife really likes it. I also have the matching saddlebag lid covers.

Lastly, the vinyl they use is much different from stock. It is less shiny. More like a very dark gray rather than gloss black. I like it.
