Default Inner Primary Bearing

I have been told; by the mechanic whose working on my scooter, that he had to replace the "Primary Inner Bearing".
I've checked the starter and clutch diagrams in my Touring guide "Service manual" and see no bearing by this description.
His original job was to find the where the oil leak coming from under the bike and around the lower primary gasket cover.
I've checked the internet and found lots of references to "worn primary bearings, replacement of primary bearings, etc" but cannot find on which assembly - clutch or starter, these bearings are used.
I ride a FLHT; '03.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Inner primary bearing supports the tranny input shaft behind the clutch.

It's the bearing on the main shaft of the tranny, not the Main Shaft Bearing but the bearing which supports the inner primary housing between the drive pully and the clutch hub.

Does that sound too much like what Eyespy said?
