Default Deal? What if we buy two new EG classics

Just wondering your thoughts and suggestions. One of my good friends and I are going to get new bikes in about a year. We are telling the wives its for their comfort for when they go ridin with us. (I don't think they buy it.) But, I'm sold on the EG classic, him the street glide or maybe EG classic. What if we went to the dealer and bought em both together? You think they would give us a deal? No trade ins. I'm keepin my dyna and hes keepin his 06 sportie.

In economic times like this, they should.

Pick the wrong dealer and they will claim you need to pay extra for the extra time to prep two cycles and process the additional paper work.

first you have to find out what the 'out the door price' is for each bike. Then you'll be able to tell if your getting a deal or not.,,

I did exactly what you want to do myself (buddy and I made package deal for 2 vivid black Ultra's). Some dealers get small allotments to begin with (put them in the "sell all they can get" column) and want to maximize profit for every bike. Those dealers aren't going to discount one bike, much less two. Other dealers seem to be able to get all they can sell and if you can find one of those you have a better chance. I did manage to get an OTD discount but could have probably gotten the same price for one bike.

Sorry....but my guess is it ain't never gonna happen. In most cases they know if they wait long enough they will sell it anyway. At least here in MI even with the lousy economy most dealers wont "deal" period. Hope it works out for ya though.
