show your bagger with apes

Thank you for all the help. Im sure I have to use a stealer to mount the bars when I get them, so guess I'll just have to do some overtime to get the cash for the job hehe....
16" bars look great but dont want bars that high. The monkey bars look cool but are more then I am willing to spend on bars. I think my choice right now is between 13" and 14" bars. I have read here and other places that with both bars you are able to use the stock mirrors on the SG. Just have to make up my mind... and try one of them out then.
I'll add pics once the whole thing is done. But keep posting pics bagger apes are just too cool :-)

Hey HHI DAVE... nice bike and nice touch with the red grips.. looks sweet with the black bike and bars.
Ok went out to the bike to messure. They write on hdbikeparts.com that the 14" bars are 3" above the fairing. Did a little messuring and found that to be a nice hight and also makes looking in the stock mirrors problemfree for me. Lowered the hand position 1" to see how the 13" bars would be like. Great also but at least for me the mirrors started to be covered a bit. Was still able to see in the mirrors though :-)

Thanks for your help. I've been contemplating Cycle Smith apes for a while now. You just saved me money on wire extensions. Now all I have to worry about is the brake lines and clutch cable.
